Describe a time you felt completely lost.

I've felt lost many times in my life, can't say I have much of a good sense of directions, I always relied on consistency in my surroundings. I know how unreliable that makes me sounds and it would be a correct assumption, I tend to forget a lot easily because I unconsciously brush things off as unimportant. I can't count how many times I have set something don't to immediately forget where I set it, or having a goal in mind just to forget the second my thought stray for a moment, so I typically focus on one task at a time. But for the most of all it's my job to grow up even if it's so confusing without any real guide to do it right for myself and others. Who am I, how do I know or learn to be that person that people expect and see in me, I want to do good for them so I'll keep trying everyday.

What is the most creative thing you have ever made? Share what it was and explain why it stands out as your best work.

The most creative thing I had every made was a ceramic bowl I painted. While not one of my best works it was new in a way I had never let myself try before but it is one of my best that stands out. It stands out to me because I loved drawing but never expanded to painting or working on anything other than on paper. When I worked on the ceramic bowl it was like experiencing a new part of myself I left behind my passion for the arts dimmed from stress. It allowed me to test something new about me while staying in my comfort zone of familiarity, letting myself experience something I held dear from my childhood.

Describe one thing that makes you different from other people.

I suppose one thing that makes me different from others is that I tend to have a variety of interests. I can never quite put my interests in a specific categories without being incredibly vague about them. I always give everything a chance because I know all I need is a small captivating line to get me hooked. I am captivated by the love and confidence people put into their works because hearing or reading I can notice all the thoughts put into it that I can't help but fall in love with it. I can never say I don't like something because there are always exceptions. I may like one thing but not the rest so I base my interests on those specific works rather than their creators. Always have me wonder what else I can be, that makes me and not someone other want of me, how captivating and diverse our world is.

How has living in or around Atlanta influenced the way you see your community, culture, or identity? If you were speaking to someone unfamiliar with Atlanta, what would you want them to understand about your community?

I've lived in Atlanta my whole life and at times it seems like it didn't change my anything but at the same like it affected everything. I was born and raised here so I know how small things always come up in conversations in every group because even separated by groups of ethnicity or race we're all still connected in some way. Atlanta's community is so diverse in it's own unique way, how one can rally and support each other even with so many differences. Atlanta's history was made from diversity, the ability to balance so many differences together. For anyone that may be unfamiliar with our community I would hope I could present a supportive community through good and bad decisions.  Summary: During class we analyzed Bottom's speech "Go Home" and the rhetorical components of her speech. What her ethos, pathos, and logos that were incorporated into her speech that made it so compelling to her audience, the citizens of Atlanta that were protesting...

What were you trying to persuade them to do or believe? How did you use ethos, pathos, or logos to persuade them? Which appeal was most effective and why?

During my early years when I used to attend my church often there was once where they took us out as a group from the teenager class. They gave us pamphlets to give out at a nearby apartment complex down the road after getting permission from our parents, those that didn't stayed behind and continued in the class like usual. While giving out pamphlets sometimes some answered but weren't interested which was fine, no use trying to talk to someone that wasn't interested in hearing. The few times were willing to hear me talk about the church and our teachings I used pathos, telling them the pros and cons about the church I attended. It was a good community, that welcomed everyone and but everyone there mostly spoke in Spanish so it was comforting for people that just arrived in the U.S., but we didn't have translators for English speakers which was disappointing that I warned for those considering attending. There were classes for children to attend and some pastors would ...

Write about something that you believed as a child

As a child I believed in the Christian God, the all mighty and all seeing being. My mother never cared for fairy-tales so I never grew up with Santa Clause, the Tooth fairy, the Easter bunny, or anything else. I was raised religiously so all  those tales to me meant nothing since I already knew they were fake and that adults handled all those preparations. Know a days I don't go often but during my childhood we mostly went five times a week. Constant exposure and reputation made me believe in a lot of what was said, probably wasn't the best idea to read the last chapter of the bible, it talked a lot of damnation and how it would happen. So the idea to me of being left behind when that day came I would consistently pray, attend church classes, at some point I had joined the choir group. Not all things written in the bible were terrifying to a child, some were good lessons.

Think about an argument or disagreement that you wish you could have handled differently. What happened, what was your goal, and what would you do differently now?

At times I realize I get emotional very easily when I'm passionate about something, I get nervous talking to other people so happens rarely making it harder for me to realize when to back off or if I'm taking it too far. When you're young you're given a black and white mindset, doing this or that makes a person a bad one. But as I get older reasons for actions start becoming more important in the decision making. There is a character that I like, they're portrayed as a grey character, a good person that does bad things, it makes their character more complicated while still showing growth during each chapter and how they are affected by their past and current actions. During that argument I felt compelled to explain the uniqueness that does deeds contribute to the character, like I wanted them to at least understand what the author was trying to display, I don't think I would approach it much different from how I originally did, I acknowledged what that characte...

As you grow older and face new experiences, what issue or topic do you think you'll have to stand up and debate most often, whether with friends, family, or society?

As I grow up and face new experiences when I enter into society as an adult, an issue I believe I would have to stand up for most often would be feminism. Throughout history women have faced many difficulties to get the rights they have now but it doesn't mean the issue was resolved. There are still debates about this because of previous generations that are still in that mindset or ignorant people from our generation that act like the suffocation and struggle that women in the past made to get those rights, acting arrogant because they can't accept the difficulty of adulthood. Everything is an argument, even human rights these days can easily be dismissed by other people, sometimes people do it unconsciously when making decisions, what careers, what path isn't going to judge women for their gender.

Three Goals That I Want To Achieve This Year

This year feels already feels like a rollercoaster with everyone saying it'll be my hardest year, it makes me nervous but I still hope to do my best. I chose these classes because I want to set myself in high standards and fall behind. I want to reach my potential by constantly challenging myself to do well in these classes, I wish to achieve As and Bs. I've taken a couple Ap exams so far and I haven't done so great so far and it's unmotivating a bit, but I still haven't given, I want to do better and score higher for a 5. I don't want to burn out from all my studies so I want to discover a new hobby that I'd love, it could even help me connect with others.
